This ABC dry chemical fire extinguisher is UL rated for a 10 foot square area. That rating is in the hands of a novice (one with little or no experience in operating a fire extinguisher). The overall fire suppression capability is estimated to be 10 to 25 square feet of coverage depending on the experience of the operator. This fire extinguisher is DOT (Department of Transportation) and USCG (United States Coast Guard) approved when mounted with a proper bracket. This has simple operation and maintenance requirements, which are shown on the label. Comes with a tough mylar label/nameplate, and is rechargeable. Manufactured with a durable high quality metal steel container and treated with corrosion resistant process and painted with special formulated polyester paint which is electrostatically applied and oven cured. Easy grip handles are designed for portability and ease of use. A large easy to read gauges is used to make the extinguisher user friendly. These high quality extinguisher come with a six year limited warranty. The valve stem comes with plated steel and O-ring which are compatible with the extinguishing agent to insure reliable performance and long life.
